Our Story
The founding vision behind KinMove was formed in the summer of 2014 when Adam and I decided we wanted to create a healthier, more active Nova Scotia. Understanding that there is no better time than the present, we embarked on this journey immediately and haven't looked back since.
We quickly defined our mission: to provide convenient and personalized fitness, rehabilitation, health, and wellness services to Nova Scotians through programming, training, coaching, and awareness.
With a strong passion to assist our aging population and over ten years of experience working in clinical-based settings, we aimed to complement, and offer more than just personal training programs. Helping our seniors combat dementia, osteoporosis, diabetes, or simply regain basic functions so they can continue to live independently are the services we take pride in. Furthermore, we find nothing more rewarding than helping someone recover their pre-injury condition after suffering from a motor-vehicle accident, workplace or sports injury, or life-altering event. Whatever the cause, we are driven to support our fellow Nova Scotians through exercise and wellbeing.
Adam and I go back a long way. In fact, we met over fifteen years ago at the University of New Brunswick while pursuing our Bachelor’s degrees in Kinesiology. Although we each took different paths since then, one thing remained constant: our love and passion for exercise, fitness, entrepreneurship, health, and wellbeing.
Now, here we are in 2015, and we couldn't be more grateful for the path ahead. So if you, or someone you know, is recovering from a life-altering event, has difficulties with aging-related illnesses, or is simply looking to tone up for the beach or a wedding this summer, give us a shout! We'd welcome the opportunity and guarantee you won't be disappointed with our service.
Because one thing is certain, we KinMove you!
Sincerely,
Adam Hayre
